I have always enjoyed sharing my musical talent with others...I began teaching over 10 years ago, at the age of 17, by basically just showing songs to my friends.  Over the years, I have developed an effective method of instruction that is individually tailored to each student, and teach between 30 and 40 students per week.  Imparting the knowledge and experience that I have learned over the years is one of the most enjoyable things in the world for me. Almost everyone in my immediate and extended family is an educator, and I have taught students of all ages, in all styles, on several instruments, and incorporate aspects of music theory (scales, chords, rhythm) and ear training (interval recognition and pitch accuracy) into my lessons as well. Combined with learning contemporary rock, jazz, blues, country, gospel, funk, (you bring it in and  I can probably teach it to you), this approach makes up an excellent method for learning an instrument. The most important part is keeping it fun!
